Chair
Karen Crain
Karen Crain is a parent of three amazing daughters, an eating disorders advocate, and overall champion for mental wellbeing. In the past, Karen was a volunteer with Postpartum Support International who responded to their warm-line calls and participated in the Mental Health First-Aid training. As the administrative coordinator for the Division of Business at Rollins College, it is her hope to build on her connections with students, faculty, and staff to educate the campus community on eating disorders and eating disorders resources. Karen is passionate about The Alliance’s mission and looks forward to supporting their endeavors and helping them grow awareness and provide resources.
Co Vice-Chair
Celine Passeri, PsyD, CEDS-S
Celine Passeri, PsyD, CEDS-S is a licensed psychologist and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervision (CEDS-S). Dr. Passeri is currently in private practice in Orlando and the Clinical Advisor at Center for Discovery’s Orlando Residential Eating Disorder Program. Dr. Passeri has dedicated her career to raising eating disorders awareness and providing specialized treatment. She was one of the leading members of EDNCF (Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida). In 2020, EDNCF merged with The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness, creating The Alliance’s Orlando Affiliate. Dr. Passeri is currently supporting their vision of hope as the Vice Co-Chair of the affiliate. Lastly, Dr. Passeri is a chair member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) for their Central Florida chapter, and currently serves as the Education Chair.
Co-Vice Chair
Marnie Davis, LMHC, CEDS-S
Marnie Davis is a LMHC, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor (CEDS-S), Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and a Health at Every Size (HAES®) informed clinician. She is the Continuing Education co-chair for the Central Florida iaedp Chapter and has previously served as president and other various board positions. Marnie enjoys working with clients and their loved ones in her private practice located in Maitland, FL, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, body dysmorphia, trauma, and PTSD. Marnie is a seasoned speaker, a published author, and a passionate advocate and ally. She has been involved in eating disorder awareness and fundraising events for many years and strives to foster hope, support, kindness, and healing. Marnie is honored to serve as the Vice Co-Chair of The Alliance’s Orlando Affiliate. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve The Alliance’s mission; outreach, education, early intervention, support, and advocacy for all.
Treasurer
Heather Bomar Stamm, LMHC, CATP, CCTP
Heather Bomar Stamm completed her Master's in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida in 2014. She is a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma (CATP) Professional as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Heather's primary specialty is working with individuals, both children and adults, who have experienced trauma, abuse, exploitation, and neglect. She is trained in EMDR and PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy).
Heather has been active in the eating disorder community in central Florida for over 12 years. She currently serves on the board for the Central Florida iaedp Chapter and the Orlando Affiliate of the National Alliance for Eating Disorders and served on the board for the Eating Disorders Network of Central Florida (EDNCF) for 10 years. Heather has organized nine eating disorder awareness walks in Orlando, helped raise over $100,000 in funds to provide eating disorder and body image issues treatment and treatment scholarships for individuals in central Florida. Heather has lobbied on Capitol Hill in D.C. for Mental Health Care Reform.
